MLB Wild Card Series today: Game 1 times and where to watch

The MLB postseason starts today, and all four Wild Card Series play Game 1 this afternoon and evening. Every game this round is on NBC Sports platforms, which means NBC, Peacock and NBC Sports Network. If you want to stream all four, Peacock carries every game.

Here is the schedule, with Pacific times. The Phillies visit the Braves at 2 p.m. Eastern, 11 a.m. Pacific, on NBC and Peacock. The White Sox are at the Astros at 5 p.m. Eastern, 2 p.m. Pacific, on Peacock and NBCSN. The Red Sox visit the Yankees at 8 p.m. Eastern, 5 p.m. Pacific, on NBC and Peacock. The Cubs close the night at the Padres at 10 p.m. Eastern, 7 p.m. Pacific, on Peacock and NBCSN.

Each series is best of three, so a team can be eliminated as soon as Wednesday. Game 2s are Wednesday, September 30, at the same times and on the same channels. Any series that needs a Game 3 plays Thursday, October 1, with times set once the Game 2 results are in.

After that, the Division Series run October 3 to 10 on TBS, truTV and HBO Max for the American League and on FOX and FS1 for the National League. The League Championship Series follow October 11 to 20, and the World Series is scheduled for October 23 to 31 on FOX.
