NASCAR at Las Vegas today: South Point 400 time and TV
The NASCAR Cup Series runs the South Point 400 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway today at 2:30 p.m. Pacific on USA Network, race 5 of the 10-race Chase.
NASCAR's postseason heads to the desert today. The Cup Series runs the South Point 400 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway at 2:30 p.m. Pacific (5:30 p.m. Eastern) on USA Network. Radio coverage is on PRN and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio, channel 90.
The race is 267 laps, or 400.5 miles, on the 1.5-mile oval. It is the fifth of 10 races in this year's NASCAR Chase, the postseason format that decides the champion, so the halfway point of the playoffs arrives today.
Las Vegas has been good to a few drivers in the field. According to Jayski, Denny Hamlin won last fall's postseason race here and the spring 2026 race too. Hamlin, Joey Logano and Kyle Larson have all won Las Vegas postseason races before. Jayski also notes this is the ninth time Las Vegas has hosted a Cup postseason race since 2018, and the first time it has been the fifth race.
USA Network is a cable channel, so cord-cutters should check whether their streaming service carries it before the green flag.
With the NFL afternoon games, the WNBA semifinal and the NLDS also on today, sports fans have a crowded Sunday. A simple plan is to pick your top priority for each time slot ahead of time and catch the rest in highlights.
